V. SOCIAL PLUG-INS

This offer uses so-called "social plugins". Via these plugins, data, including personal data, can be sent to the US service providers and possibly used by them.

FACEBOOK

This offer uses social plugins from Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. If the user actively clicks on a Facebook social plugin, his browser establishes a direct connection with Facebook's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to the user's browser, which then integrates it into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore informs users according to its level of knowledge: By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. When users interact with the Facebook social plugin (e.g. by clicking the "Like" button or posting a comment), the corresponding information is transmitted directly from the user's browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is a member of Facebook and does not want Facebook to collect data about him or her via this offer and link it to his or her membership data stored on Facebook, he or she must log out of Facebook before interacting with the Facebook social plugin.

Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will learn and store his or her IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP address is stored in Germany.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the related rights and settings options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

We use the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and, as part of Google AdWords, conversion tracking. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. Users who do not wish to participate in the tracking can easily deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie via their internet browser under user settings. These users will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
